“Tom Douglas is, quite simply, our conscience. He shines a spotlight on the dark side of society so brightly that we can no longer ignore it. He’s a realist, but he’s also an optimist. As he says, the pain in this world is great, but the love is even greater. I love his raspy voice. When you hear him sing, you know he just knows. He’s lived every word that he writes. He makes mature music for mature people. He’s had some huge hits, but I always like his versions better. No one can sing a Tom Douglas song better than Tom.”   – Music journalist Beverly Keel

After a successful career in commercial real estate, Tom Douglas scored his first charting single as a songwriter when Collin Raye took “Little Rock” to the top of the charts in 1994. The single earned Tom a CMA Song of the Year nomination, which began a long string of Top 10 singles that has stretched for more than two decades. His #1 songs include “I Run to You” and “Hello World” for Lady Antebellum, “Love’s the Only House” for Martina McBride, “Grown Men Don’t Cry,” “Southern Voice,” and “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s” for Tim McGraw, “Raise ‘Em Up” for Keith Urban and Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me,” which was nominated for two Grammy awards and won CMA and ACM Song of the Year. His latest hit was “Drunk Girl” for Chris Janson.

Tom’s songs have also been recorded by Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Brooks & Dunn, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Chesney, Brett Eldredge, Alabama, Lee Ann Womack and many others. Tom is a Golden Globe and Oscar nominee, has been nominated for four Grammy awards, and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014.

Tom is a songwriting treasure and we love to get him on a stage to show his gifts of music and storytelling to others.
