Josh Kear

Josh Kear is the only songwriter in Grammy history to win Best Country Song three times (for Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” and Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” and “Blown Away”). He also won CMA, ACM, and ASCAP Song of the Year awards for “I Need You Now,” which spent 14 weeks at #1 on the AC chart and 5 weeks at #1 on the country charts.

 

Kear has a total of 15 number one songs, including Luke Bryan’s “Drunk On You”, Blake Shelton’s “Neon Light”, and Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care”. His most recent #1’s are “Woman, Amen” by Dierks Bentley and “Most People Are Good” by Luke Bryan, which spent three weeks on top of the country charts.

 

The long list of country and pop performers who have cut his songs also includes Frankie Ballard, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Charlie Puth, Jimmie Buffet, Labrinth, Chris Young, Tyler Farr, Darius Rucker and many others.

Chris DeStefano is a Grammy Award Winning singer/songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist, raised in Mt. Laurel, NJ and currently residing in Nashville, TN. As a songwriter, he has multiple #1 songs with artists Carrie Underwood (“Good Girl”, “Little Toy Guns”), Billy Currington (“Hey Girl”), Brett Eldredge (“Don’t Ya”), Luke Bryan (“That’s My Kind of Night”, “Kick the Dust Up”),  Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood (“Somethin’ Bad,” later reworked as the opening theme for NBC Sunday Night Football), Rascal Flatts (“Rewind”) and Jason Aldean (“Just Gettin’ Started”).
